Join The Core Aquatics Family
The Core Aquatics team is a dedicated bunch of individuals who make up our Core Aquatics Family.
Obviously, we love kids and the work that we do. Everyone is qualified for their respective roles and they hold a clear Enhanced Data Barring Service check. We operate a comprehensive recruitment process focusing not only on the quality of teaching but their ability to safeguard all clients in our care.
- Our longest serving swim teacher is Penny, a mum, who has been with us since 2017. She came highly recommended and was looking for a new opportunity.
- Simon is a retired primary school teacher who teaches with us at weekends to avoid doing the decorating at home …. Shhhhh don’t tell his wife we said that!
- Elizabeth is a university student who works part time for us and is studying to be a primary school teacher so this is perfect practice for her in running a class.
- Umar is also a university student who is studying medicine and teaches with us alongside his studies.
about
our team
Core Aquatics strongly encourages and supports all members of our team to be active in their personal and professional development through accessing Continuous Personal Development (CPD) opportunities.
our team
why choose us
A swim school built around safety, confidence, and progress. Helping swimmers of all abilities feel safe and succeed.
IN WATER TEACHING
Our teachers are in the pool with swimmers, giving hands on support and clear guidance. This helps confidence grow faster and keeps every lesson focused and safe.
SMALL GROUPS, REAL PROGRESS
Smaller class sizes mean more attention and better outcomes. Swimmers get the time they need to practise properly, improve technique, and move forward at the right pace.
STRUCTURED PATHWAYS
Lessons follow the STA International Learn to Swim Programme, with clear stages and goals. You always know what your swimmer is working towards and why it matters.
SUPPORTIVE FOR ALL ABILITIES
We welcome swimmers of all ages and abilities, including those who need extra support. With Autism Swim Approved teaching and an encouraging approach, lessons feel calm, positive, and achievable.
